1. Have you been told by the venue contact what to do in an emergency? (Fire)

2. Do all the fire exit door open fully in the room you are using?

3. Have you walked the fire exit routes and are they clear?

4. Do you know what the fire alarm sounds like?

5. Are toilets available and do they work?

6. Is the hot and cold water working, is there soap and a means to dry hands?

7. Is there access to drinking water?

8. Has all portable electrical equipment been tested, or is it less than 12 months old?

9. Are all the cables in good condition?

10. Are all the plugs in good condition?

11. Does the venue's power supply appear in good condition and free from any signs of burn marks or cracks?
