1. Are anchor bolts installed with washers and nuts?

3. Are all top/bottom plate holes or holes in the floor sealed?

4. Are horizontal penetrations sealed 10' on center?

5. Is the area around the windows and exterior bottom plates sealed?

6. Is there a strong back with diagonal bracing on gables as per the manufacturer’s instructions?

7. Is lateral bracing provided per individual truss papers?

8. Are all truss hangers nailed, with all-round holes filled?

9. Are all joist hangers nailed, with all-round holes filled?

10. Is the top plate strapped when 2 breaks occur within 24" with a 16-gauge strap and 6-16d nails on each side of the break?

11. Is there a positive connection on all posts and beams?

12. Are all top and bottom of all chases fire-stopped?

13. Are all joists provided with hangers, including stair landings?

16. Are all corner studs nailed with 2 rows of 16d nails at 24" on center?

17. Has all roof ventilation been installed?

18. Is the roof complete before the framing inspection?

19. Has a fix been obtained for any cut/damaged joists or trusses from the joist or truss company?

20. Are rim boards toe-nailed to the sill plate at 6" on center?

21. Are studs added under all double girder trusses/double joists?

22. Are smoke detectors required in all sleeping rooms and outside each sleeping room within 15', and are the detectors more than 3' away from air return ducts or registers?

23. Is the staircase fire-blocked, and are any holes in the fire blocks sealed?

24. Is the maximum stud spacing 24" in the center?

25. Are all point loads transferred in the crawl space?

26. Is sheetrock backing added to tub/shower stalls and secured to the walls?

37. Has the house been checked to ensure it is built as per the approved plans, and have any changes been submitted for review and approval to the Building Department office before the framing inspection?
