Cleaning checklist with standard operating procedures for housekeeping staff, regarding the cleaning and maintenance of common areas such as corridors.

1. Corridor swept from end to end with a mop?

2. Carpeted corridors vacuumed from end to end?

3. Corners and edges of the carpet cleaned with the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner?

4. Fittings and skirting dusted with a duster?

5. Light fittings, artwork frame and glass dusted with feather brush and duster?

6. Dead light bulbs replaced if any?

7. Air supply vents and sprinklers dusted and checked for proper functioning?

8. Visible fingerprints and smudges on corridor walls wiped with a wet cloth?

9. Front and back of the emergency exit doors cleaned?

10. Is it ensured that there are no visible stains, dirt, and dust in the corridor?
