Use this CCTV Monitoring Checklist for each shift to manage surveillance operations, verify camera coverage, detect suspicious activity, and ensure consistent monitoring.

1. Has the operator logged in, and is the monitoring station operational?

2. Are all required cameras online and visible?

3. Is recording active on all required cameras?

4. Are the system date and time correct?

5. Have any known camera or system issues been noted at the start of the shift?

1. Are entrances and exits clearly visible on assigned cameras?

2. Are cash, POS, or high-risk internal areas clearly visible?

3. Are stock rooms, back-of-house, and restricted areas clearly visible?

4. Are perimeter and parking areas clearly visible?

5. Are all critical camera views free from obstruction, dirt, or poor positioning?

1. Are camera views rotated regularly and not left static?

2. Are priority areas checked repeatedly throughout the shift?

3. Are PTZ cameras used when needed to follow activity?
