Use this Building Cleaning Checklist to ensure thorough cleaning of all areas from high-touch surfaces to common areas for a well-maintained building.

1. Is the reception workstation dusted and damp-cleaned?

2. Is the lobby furniture dusted and damp-cleaned?

3. Is the reception telephone cleaned and sanitized?

4. Is the receptionist wastebasket emptied, and are new liners replaced?

5. Is trash and recycling transported to the designated area for removal?

6. Are all finger marks removed from entry doors, vestibule door glass, and interior glass partitions daily?

7. Are all finger marks removed from painted walls?

8. Are all cobwebs removed?

9. Is the metal brightwork, including baseboard units and window frames, cleaned?

10. Are hard surface floors dust-mopped and damp-mopped, paying attention to door jambs?

11. Are carpeting and floor mats vacuumed daily?

12. Are smoking urns at the front and rear doors emptied?

13. Is all furniture returned to its original position?
