Ensuring the highest standards for staff safety and service quality and speed has been a key factor of success for MiniClipper. Every year the company obtains external certifications for quality and safety, such as ISO and FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme), and has even won the Silver award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Miniclipper was using Excel forms, with basic results and no real follow-up or resulting action plans. Inspections were conducted once every 6 months because auditing, chasing and following up was such an onerous and paperwork-heavy exercise.
To improve this process, the Miniclipper team looked into 6 different auditing solutions. With GoAudits, the audit responsiveness went from 65% to 97% as staff find it easier to self-audit. The auditing time drastically reduced, therefore the team was able to increase the frequency of audits.
Inspections now take place monthly, and in an expanding number of areas: health & safety, walk-throughs of warehouses and offices, ambience and business standards, personnel training, hazardous materials procedures etc.
