1. Is there an air pump available at the fuel or service station for checking and inflating tire pressures?

2. Is the recommended tire pressure for your vehicle located on the driver's door or in the manual?

3. Is the air pump set to the recommended tire pressure before inflating or deflating?

4. Are the valve caps on each tire removed and safely stored to avoid losing them?

5. Is the air pressure gauge to the tire valve correctly attached, and did the machine provide a reading?

6. If the tire pressure reading was lower than recommended, is the tire inflated? If it was higher, is some air released?

1. Are all vehicle tires at or above the legally required minimum tread depth of 1.6mm?

2. Did you use a 20p coin to check the tire tread depth, ensuring that the raised outer rim of the coin was not visible?

3. Did you check at least three spots on each tire to account for uneven wear?

4. Did you inspect the tire walls for cuts, tears, bulges, or any visible damage?
