This Pool inspection checklist will help you ensure that the COVID-19 hygiene guidelines are in place in the swimming pool area for the safety of all users.

1. All patrons and employees encouraged to wear face coverings, except when in the water.

2. All staff especially those who are in direct contact with the public, encouraged to wear face coverings at all times.

3. Social distancing of at least six feet continues to be a best practice?

4. Persons with any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 should not be on the premises.

5. No participant may use the facility or join an outdoor swim activity within 72 hours of exhibiting a fever.

1. Handwashing capability or sanitizer availability vigorously encouraged?

2. Are all employees frequently washing their hands?

3. Pool, deck, and other communal spaces fully sanitized prior to opening each day?

4. Communal areas, showers, locker rooms, etc. sanitised frequently between slots booked?

1. Employer has provided training for employees regarding these requirements and has provided each employee with a copy of the business mitigation plan?

2. Employer conducting pre-shift staff screening and maintaining staff screening log.

3. All employees or employees symptomatic of COVID-19 is not reporting to work?

4. No employee is reporting to the work site within 72 hours of exhibiting a fever.

5. Employer has established a plan for employees getting ill and a return-to work plan.

1. Cleaning and Disinfecting continue to be conducted in compliance with Health & Safety protocols.

2. Employer taking care of proper operation and maintenance, including disinfection with chlorine and bromine, to inactivate any virus in the water.

3. When an active employee is identified as being COVID-19 positive by testing, Is the entire unit is cleaned and disinfected?
