Have the risks to health and safety on the site been assessed, including: • Excavations and holes • Utilities and services • Slipping and tripping hazards • Hazardous materials/chemicals • Opportunities for climbing and falls from height • Loose items and materials • Accessible plants and tools • Other hazards

Are tower cranes secured with: • Is access restricted at all access points? • Suspended loads and lifting chains removed and secured? • Is the lifting hook raised and secured? • Keys removed and stored safely? • Is the cabin door closed and locked, with mesh or barriers if necessary? • Crane set to slew mode following the manufacturer’s instructions for high winds?

Do traffic control measures align with the traffic control plan during site closure and include: • Adequate water or concrete barriers installed and secured? • Is appropriate traffic signage in place? • Are road plates with non-slip surfaces provided when required? • Are footpaths clear to prevent pedestrians from walking on the road?
