Use this Compressor Commissioning Checklist to verify the performance of motors, couplings, valves, etc. before and after start-up for proper operation.

1. Have you read and understood all the manuals (compressor, UniSAB, chiller, etc.)?

2. Have you read and understood the manuals for third-party components (electric motors, valves, etc.)?

3. Is the unit installation and vibration damper adjustment correct?

4. Have you carried out functional testing of the safety equipment?

5. Are the opening pressures on all safety valves correct?

6. Have you conducted a vacuum test?

7. Is the UniSAB setup correct (refer to the list of settings)?

8. Have you checked the VSD set-up, if applicable?

9. Is the oil level within the required range?

10. Has the heating element in the oil been on for 6-8 hours before startup?

11. Have you taken a sample of the primary refrigerant, and is it free from water, air, etc.?

12. Is the motor rotation direction correct?

13. Is the coupling properly aligned?

14. Is the compressor cooling connected correctly?

15. Is the plant free from leaks?

16. Are the valves in the correct position for operation?

1. Is the capacity regulation system working correctly?

2. Is the refrigerant charge adequate at full load?

3. Have you checked the unit for vibrations?

4. Have you checked the unit for vibrations (for variable speed)?

5. Have you made a startup log at full load (on the back of this form)?

6. Have you taken a representative lubricating oil sample after about 1 hour of operation, and will you save it for a minimum of 1 year from the commissioning date?
