1. Have all the technicians and operators read and understood all manuals?

2. Have all the technicians and operators read and understood all manuals for third party components?

3. Has the unit installation and vibration damper adjustment been checked?

4. Has functional testing of safety equipment been carried out?

5. Are the opening pressures on all safety valves, correct?

6. Has vacuum test been carried out?

7. Have oil levels been checked?

8. Has the heating element in the oil been on for 6-8 hours before start-up?

9. Has a sample of the primary refrigerant been taken and checked to ensure it is free from water, air, etc.?

10. Is the motor rotation direction correct?

11. Is the coupling aligned?

12. Is the compressor cooling connected correctly?

13. Are there any leaks in the plant?

14. Are valves in the correct position for operation?
