Use this Architectural Checklist for inspections in construction phase, to verify execution compliance with approved plans and specifications.

1. Are the latest approved drawings, specs, and RFIs on-site?

2. Has the builder posted a building permit and mandatory safety signage?

3. Are all shop drawings and material submittals architect-approved?

4. Have change orders affecting today’s scope been issued and signed?

5. Is the construction schedule up to date and displayed on site?

1. Is the site fenced, with clear access control points?

2. Are walkways clear of trip hazards and properly illuminated?

3. Are fall protection systems installed where needed?

4. Is PPE (hard hats, boots, vests, goggles) worn by all personnel?

5. Are erosion-control and storm-water measures functioning?

6. Is dust, noise, and debris containment adequate for neighbors?

1. Do footing dimensions match structural drawings?

2. Is rebar size, spacing, and cover verified before the concrete pour?

3. Are foundation walls plumb and free of honeycombing?

4. Are waterproofing membranes fully bonded and lap-sealed?

5. Has perimeter drainage (weep holes, drain tile) been installed?

6. Are slab depressions and block-outs located per plan?

2. Are fire-door frames tagged and installed in the correct locations?

3. Are rated shafts continuous with no open joints or gaps?

4. Is sprinkler head coverage free of obstructions?

5. Are exit signs and egress lighting provisions in place?

6. Is stair pressurization ductwork installed per the life-safety plan?
