This checklist can be used to help ensure that the operations and control systems for airline ground handling services are in accordance with IATA's Safety Audit of Ground Operations (ISAGO).

Personal Protective Equipment & Ramp

1. Are all staff wearing all PPE required for their task, prior to aircraft arrival / engagement?

3. Is it ensured that no personal electronic devices are being used within the re-fuelling zones around the aircraft?

4. Is the ground free of any fluid leaks, slip or trip hazards?

Pre-Arrival Setup

1. Is all equipment required for the turnaround kept ready?

2. Is equipment clear of the equipment restraint areas?

3. Is the apron equipment standing behind the equipment restraint line prior to the arrival of the aircraft?

4. Is the entire stand area clear of FOD prior to the aircraft arrival?

5. Is all motorised Ground Support Equipment (GSE) switched off and moved away from aircraft when unattended?

6. Have crew ensured the stand is inspected and safe prior to aircraft arrival?

7. Is crew present prior to aircraft arrival?

8. Is the aircraft safety zone clear - no staff within the safety zones and all equipment in the designated parking bays?

9. Is all motorised and non-motorised equipment secured with brakes and chocks when not in use?

Arrival At Gate

1. Are staff waiting till the anti-collision lights are switched off, engines / propellers come to a complete stop, before approaching the aircraft?

4. Is it being ensured that no vehicles are passing underneath the aircraft fuselage or wings?

Aircraft Offload / Onload

1. Are vehicles being driven at walking speed around aircrafts?

2. Is GSE being driven with handrails/lifts lowered to prevent damage to aircraft when approaching?

3. Is a two-stop brake check completed when approaching aircraft?

4. Is it ensured that all GSE is being positioned without contacting the aircraft?

5. Are brakes and chocks applied when GSE are parked?

1. Are all nets secured correctly prior to closing cargo doors?

4. Is the correct steering by-pass pin installed prior to connecting tow bar?

7. Is a pre-departure FOD walk completed and stand checked for FOD prior to aircraft departure?

9. Are cones removed after all GSE is cleared, doors are closed and aircraft ready to depart?

10. Are chocks removed only after airbridge is removed and aircraft is ready for pushback?

11. Is tow bar aligned with A/C prior to push?

13. Is an ‘All Clear’ signal clearly shown to flight crew after by-pass pin and all staff clear of aircraft?
