Use this air conditioning commissioning checklist to validate that packaged air conditioning units are in conformance with the design specifications after installation onsite.

1. Have all engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, datasheets, performance curves been provided and complete?

2. Have all supplier/vendor documentation including installation, start-up, and operation and maintenance manuals been provided and complete?

3. Are all the design drawings appropriately certified?

4. Have all the packaged A/C units installed in accordance with the design documents provided?

5. Question help: Filters, Fans, Ductwork attachments and accessories, Piping attachments and accessories, and electric coils

6. Have all the A/C units been cleaned and are free from any debris and foreign matter?

7. Are any of the A/C units and components damaged?

8. Are appropriate clearances required for operation and maintenance as per the builder and layout sketch?

9. Are all machinery markings and nameplate information in conformance with the design specifications or accredited vendor records?

10. Have spare parts been provided in accordance with the design and vendor's documents?

11. Are spare parts original and exact replicas of the parts they replace?

12. Are all security systems and equipment in the location operational as per the design papers?

13. Has the air conditioning system's testing, adjustment, and balance (TAB) been completed in compliance with the design documentation specifications?
