1. Are needle/slash resistant and/or rubber gloves provided to protect hands from cuts, abrasions, or contact with hazardous substances and bodily fluids?

2. Are gloves free from cuts, tears, punctures, or other damage?

3. Are gloves appropriate for specific tasks and hazards?

4. Are safety boots or shoes provided to protect against impacts, punctures, and slips?

5. Is footwear free from damage and excessive wear?

6. Is footwear appropriate for the specific environment and hazards?

1. Are masks or respirators provided in environments with harmful dust, fumes, or other airborne hazards?

2. Are respiratory protection devices inspected for cleanliness, proper function, and integrity?

3. Have respirators been fit-tested for each user?

1. Are earplugs or earmuffs available in noisy environments to prevent hearing loss?

2. Is hearing protection appropriate for the noise levels expected?

3. Are hearing protection devices clean and in good condition?
