The hotel room inspection checklist is used to inspect each area of the room thoroughly for doors and windows, air conditioning & heating, lighting, beds, furniture, walls, bathroom, and general amenities.

1. Are all doors functional?

2. Do all doors open easily and quietly?

3. Are al light switches working?

4. Do windows open and close properly?

5. Are windows free of cracks?

6. Are window glasses clean?

7. Are drapes straight and working correctly if remote controlled?

1. Are air conditioning/heating controls functioning as required?

2. Is the filter of the air conditioning clean?

3. Are the remotes working properly?

1. Are all lamps in good working order?

2. Are all wall lights in good working order?

3. Are lamp shades clean and undamaged?

4. Are the light bulbs being used of the correct wattage?

1. Are the beds made and sheets changed?

2. Are the pillows fluffed up / even?

3. Are the bedspreads straight?

4. Is the mattress firm and even (no troughs, tears, etc.)?

5. Is the bedspread clean and free of rips and stains?

1. Is the upholstery clean and in good condition?

2. Is the furniture free from scratches and undamaged?

3. Do the draws slide out easily?

4. Are the bedside tables clean?

1. Are all the walls clean and free of cobwebs, stains or dirt?

2. Are all the walls free from scratches and nicks?

3. Are wall hangings and mirrors straight?

1. Are the luggage racks in good condition?

2. Is the telephone working?

3. Are the ashtrays clean?

4. Are enough hangers provided?

1. Is the toilet seat clean on both sides?

2. Is the underside of the lavatory clean?

3. Is the shower rod in good condition?

4. Does the toilet flush correctly?

5. Is the bathroom free of odours?

6. Is the shower curtain clean?

8. Are the tiles free of water spots?

9. Have the towels been replenished?
