1. Is an in-depth leak check performed throughout your home?

3. Are visible pipes and joints checked for signs of corrosion, such as bluish-green deposits on brass and copper, or rust on iron and steel?

4. When looking and listening to drains in sinks, tubs, and showers, is a slow drain or gurgling identified? If attempts to clear the blockage are unsuccessful, is professional help brought in?

5. Are p-traps under sinks cleaned out to protect against future clogs?

6. While checking under sinks, is a thorough inspection for leaks or signs of damage, such as stains, mildew, warping, or peeling conducted?

7. For garbage disposals, is regular maintenance recommended by the manufacturer followed, or at the very least, is a quick cleaning with ice cubes made of white vinegar performed?

8. Does the refrigerator's ice maker undergo inspection to ensure no leaks are present in the water supply tubing and connections?

9. Are faucet aerators and shower heads examined for clogs or debris, and cleaned if necessary?

10. Is the caulking around tubs/shower, shower doors, toilet bases, and sinks (including the kitchen) examined? If spots are dried out, missing, or otherwise compromised, is the old caulk thoroughly removed and replaced with fresh silicone?

11. When trying to move or rock toilets without using too much force, is movement checked, and if present, are the mounting bolts at the base tightened? If tight, is the flange checked, and if necessary, replaced, and the toilet reinstalled?

12. Are tank lids off toilets removed to check for obvious signs of wear or damage to parts?

13. In the case of a running toilet with a good flapper seal, are checks done to identify and fix the problem?

14. Are rarely used toilets in the house flushed to ensure they are functioning correctly?

15. Are washing machine hoses examined for cracks or brittleness, and are connections secure while checking surrounding walls and floor for dryness?
