1. Is there good visibility for the driver through cab windows and mirrors?

2. Are all required mirrors fitted and adjusted correctly?

3. Are the driving controls, seat, and driver safety belts adjusted correctly?

4. Are the windscreen washer, wipers, demister, and horn operating correctly?

5. Is the tachograph calibrated with the correct hours? Is the speed limiter plaque displayed?

6. Are all instruments, gauges, and other warning devices operating correctly (including ABS/EBS in-cab warning lights)?

7. Are there no air leaks or pressure drops?

1. Is the vehicle sitting square and not leaning to one side?

2. Are the tax, insurance, and transport discs (if applicable) present and valid?

3. Are the number plates clearly visible?

4. Are the wheels in good condition and secure?

5. Are the tires undamaged with correct inflation and tread depth?

6. Are all lights, reflectors, and markings fitted, clean, and in good condition?

7. Is the exhaust secure with no excess noise or smoke?

8. Are the air and electrical suzies and connectors fitted correctly (including ABS/EBS cable)?

9. Are the vehicle access, steps, catwalk, or drawbar coupling in good condition?

10. Are the vehicle body, wings, guards, side and rear, curtains and straps, doors, and tail lift in good condition?

11. Is the fifth wheel located and locked correctly, and are the landing legs and handle in the correct position?

12. Is the trailer park brake operating correctly?

13. Is the air suspension correctly set?

14. Have the engine oil, water, windscreen washer reservoir, and fuel levels been checked and are there no leaks?

2. Are the loads secured and weight distributed correctly?
