1. Are entrances/exits clear?

2. Are stewards/staff in place?

3. Can emergency vehicles gain access?

4. Are pedestrians segregated from vehicles?

5. Are security precautions in place?

6. Is the signage appropriate/adequate?

7. Are car park arrangements in place?

1. Is the site free from tripping hazards? (eg cables, potholes, etc)

2. Are permanent fixtures in good condition? (eg seats, fencing, signage, etc)

3. Has the area been made safe? (eg vegetation cut back, debris removed, etc)

4. Are all measures in place satisfactory during different weather conditions? (ie no additional hazards from either rain, snow, ice, mud, etc)

1. Have all structures been completed and secured?

2. Where stairs are provided, do they have a uniform rise and go with color contrast nosings?

3. Have all activities/attractions been sited correctly? (As per site plan)

4. Are all potentially hazardous activities segregated and/or fenced off? (i.e. event arena)

5. Are cables/roles/flags etc routed correctly to prevent tripping hazards?

1. Is firefighting equipment in place? (eg fire extinguishers, fire blankets, etc)

2. Is the lighting suitable and sufficient? (ie existing or temporary installed lighting)

3. Has the electrical supply/equipment been checked/PAT tested?

4. Have temporary toilets including those for disabled people been provided and made accessible where required?

5. Are first aid facilities in place? (ie qualified first-aiders/ambulance cover)

6. Is the control center in place and is the communication system satisfactory? (ie public address system/two-way radios/mobile phones)

7. Is there an adequate number of waste bins?

8. Are welfare arrangements in place? (i.e. lost children)

9. Have all hazards been identified by the site inspection?
